Educational Details

Dr. Amira Boseila earned her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, in February 2020, where her research focused on the use of nanocarriers for targeted drug delivery to the liver. Her Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences was completed in December 2013 at Cairo University, with a thesis on the formulation and evaluation of a modified nasal drug delivery system for the antiemetic drug, Ondansetron. She also holds a Total Quality Management (TQM) Diploma from the American University of Cairo, obtained in 2009, and a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University, awarded in 2007 with a grade of “Very Good”.

Professional Experience

Dr. Boseila is currently a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Sinai University (since September 2022), where she teaches advanced topics such as Advanced Drug Delivery Systems, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Technology. She also holds a post-doctoral research position at the Egyptian Drug Authority, and she has been active in roles such as Associate Researcher and Lead Quality Control Specialist at the National Organization for Drug Control and Research (NODCAR). Dr. Boseila has held various leadership roles, including Head of Comparative Dissolution Unit and Technical Manager of the Physicochemical Lab at the Egyptian Drug Authority. She has also served as a Guest Lecturer at Ain Shams University, teaching a course on Drug Targeting.
